Your tutor comes to you, at a time that suits your family
After a free assessment, we match your child with a tutor for their subject, year group and exam board. Sessions then take place at a regular weekly time, at your home, around a table with space to work.
Personal Introduction
Your tutor introduces themselves before the first session so your child knows who to expect and what the session will cover.
Bring Their Own Materials
Sessions use your child’s school exercise books, textbooks and past papers alongside resources the tutor brings along.
Consistent Weekly Slot
A regular day and time each week builds routine and momentum, which matters just as much as the teaching itself.
What an hour at your kitchen table looks like
Settling in
The tutor arrives, sets up at the table, and asks how the week has gone at school, including any homework or topics that caused difficulty.
Recap and gap-filling
Quick recap of the previous session, then time spent directly addressing anything the student is currently stuck on.
Focused teaching
The main topic is taught using the student’s own exercise book and any past papers, with the tutor watching body language and pace up close.
Guided and independent practice
The student works through questions with the tutor close by to give immediate, specific feedback.
Wrap-up conversation
Before leaving, the tutor sets follow-up work and, where a parent is available, gives a short verbal update on progress.
